Position Description:
SAP Application Consultant Transport Management, Yard Logistics, Logistics Business Network

Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Gathering:
Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users and logistics teams, to gather and document business requirements related to Transport Management, Yard Logistics, and Logistics Business Network processes.

2. System Implementation and Configuration:
Support the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP solutions in the areas of Transport Management, Yard Logistics, and Logistics Business Network Configure SAP TM and SAP YL settings based on industry best practices and specific business needs.

3. Integration: Work on integrating SAP TM and SAP YL with other SAP modules (such as EWM, Sales and Distribution, Materials Management) and external systems to ensure end-to-end logistics processes.

4. Logistics Business Network Collaboration:
Leverage Logistics Business Network functionalities to enhance collaboration with partners, carriers, and logistics service providers.
Implement and optimize digital supply chain processes through the Logistics Business Network.

5. Customization and Enhancement:
Customize and enhance SAP TM and SAP YL functionalities to address specific business requirements and improve logistics efficiency.
Develop and implement enhancements, user exits, and custom solutions in coordination with development teams.

6. Testing and Validation:
Conduct comprehensive testing of SAP TM, SAP YL, and Logistics Business Network configurations and custom developments.
Collaborate with end users during testing phases and address any issues or concerns.

7. Training and Documentation:
Prepare and Provide internal trainings and support personnel on SAP TM, SAP YL, and Logistics Business Network functionalities.
Create and maintain documentation related to configurations, processes, and custom developments.

8. Continuous Improvement:
Stay informed about SAP TM, SAP YL, and Logistics Business Network updates and new features.
Proactively identify opportunities for system optimization and process improvements within the logistics domain.

9. Support:
Provide ongoing support for SAP TM, SAP YL, and Logistics Business Network-related issues, incidents, and change requests.
Collaborate with the support team to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience as an SAP Application Consultant with a focus on Transport Management, Yard Logistics, and Logistics Business Network.
In-depth knowledge of SAP TM and SAP YL configurations, processes, and integrations.
Familiarity with Logistics Business Network functionalities and collaboration tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and with stakeholders at different organizational levels.
Hands on experience with any Issue Tracking tools (ex JIRA) and MS Office Suite

Certifications (Desirable):
SAP Certified Application Associate
SAP Transportation Management in S/4 HANA
