Role Summary

Globalwave Softech Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced SAP FICA Senior Consultant for a 6-month contractual engagement.
The consultant will be responsible for delivering end-to-end solutions in SAP Financial Contract Accounting (FICA) within an SAP S/4HANA or ECC environment.
This role requires deep expertise in Contract Accounting (FICA) processes, including invoicing, payments, dunning, collections, interest calculation, and integration with FI-CA, SD, and CRM.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, functional, and communication skills with a proven record of handling complex financial contract accounting implementations or support engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute configuration, testing, and support activities for SAP FICA processes.

• Handle invoicing, payments, refunds, account determination, and clearing rules.

• Configure and support dunning, correspondence, interest calculation, and payment run functionalities.

• Manage integration between FI-CA and other modules such as FI, SD, CRM, and Billing & Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM).

• Conduct requirement analysis and prepare functional specifications for enhancements, custom reports, and interfaces.

• Collaborate with the technical (ABAP) and integration (CPI/PI) teams to ensure seamless system functionality.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliation and error resolution.

• Assist with data migration activities for business partner and contract accounts using tools like LSMW or Migration Cockpit.

• Perform unit testing, SIT, and UAT, ensuring all business scenarios are validated.

• Provide production support and post-go-live stabilization as required during the engagement period.

Technical & Functional Expertise

• Strong functional knowledge in FI-CA submodules, including:

  • Account Determination

  • Payment Processing (Incoming/Outgoing)

  • Clearing Rules

  • Dunning and Correspondence

  • Interest Calculation

  • Write-offs, Installment Plans, and Deferrals

• Hands-on experience in Integration with SD, FI, CRM, and BRIM.

• Working knowledge of Fiori Apps and S/4HANA functionalities for Contract Accounting.

• Experience with mass processing tools, correspondence printing, and lock management.

• Strong experience in functional specification writing, testing, and end-user training.

Must Have Skills

• SAP FI-CA configuration and support expertise.

• Deep understanding of invoicing, dunning, collections, and account reconciliation.

• S/4HANA experience (preferred).

• Integration with FI, SD, CRM, or BRIM modules.

Good to Have Skills

• Experience with SAP BRIM or Subscription Billing.

• Exposure to SAP CPI or PI/PO integrations.

• Working knowledge of Fiori UI and Embedded Analytics.

Certifications / Preferred Tools

SAP Certified Application Associate – Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA)
Tools: SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, Solution Manager, Excel, and SAP BTP (optional).

Engagement Details

• Contract Duration: 6 Months (extendable based on performance and project need)

• Working Hours: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM IST
