SAP Data Lead – Lead Expert

Role Summary

The SAP Data Lead will lead end-to-end data management, migration, and governance initiatives in SAP S/4HANA programs. This includes overseeing data extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, and load activities across business objects. The role requires strong leadership, technical acumen in SAP BODS/SAP Data Services, and experience in data governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of data migration for SAP S/4HANA programs.

• Define data migration strategy, scope, and methodology including cutover planning.

• Supervise the design and build of ETL processes using SAP BODS or other data tools.

• Collaborate with business teams for data cleansing, mapping, and validation activities.

• Ensure master and transactional data integrity across all SAP modules.

• Develop and implement data governance, quality, and reporting standards.

• Manage a team of data analysts and migration specialists.

Must Have Skills

Data migration leadership experience in SAP programs, BODS, ETL processes, and strong data governance knowledge.

Good to Have Skills

Experience in data quality tools, S/4HANA migration cockpit, and familiarity with SAP MDG.

Certifications / Preferred Tools

SAP Certified Application Associate – Data Services | Tools: SAP BODS, Data Migration Cockpit, SQL, Excel, Power BI.
