Position Overview

We are seeking highly skilled Senior jQuery UI Developers with strong expertise in JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery UI, HTML5, and CSS3. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in developing rich, interactive web applications, optimizing front-end performance, and integrating UI components with backend services.

This is a contractual position, and the selected candidates will be deployed at the client’s office working in a hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive web applications using JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery UI, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Develop reusable UI components including dialogs, accordions, tabs, menus, date pickers, data grids, and custom widgets.
• Build responsive, user-friendly, and cross-browser compatible web interfaces.
• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Optimize application performance, usability, and accessibility.
• Debug and resolve browser compatibility and UI-related issues.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Support production deployments, enhancements, bug fixes, and maintenance activities.
• Contribute to front-end modernization initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance where required.

Required Skills

• 8–10+ years of experience in front-end web application development.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, jQuery, and jQuery UI.
• Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, AJAX, JSON, and DOM manipulation.
• Experience developing and extending custom jQuery UI widgets.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design principles.
• Expertise in cross-browser compatibility and UI performance optimization.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling JSON/XML data.
• Proficiency with Git or other version control systems.
• Experience using browser developer tools for debugging and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
