Role Summary

Globalwave Softech is seeking a highly experienced SAP CPS (Configuration and Pricing Service) Lead to lead the end-to-end provisioning, configuration, and integration of SAP CPS environments. This is a senior, hands-on role requiring deep expertise in pricing, Variant Configuration (VC), and SAP ECC integrations, with a strong focus on enabling seamless frontend customer experiences through SAP Commerce Cloud.

The ideal candidate will own the complete CPS lifecycle—from environment setup and data loading to advanced pricing rule development and system optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Environment & Platform Management

• Provision, configure, and maintain SAP CPS environments in a cloud setup.

• Ensure system stability, scalability, and adherence to best practices.

Pricing & Configuration

• Design and implement complex pricing rules, procedures, and Variant Configuration (VC) models.

• Configure characteristics, classes, dependencies, and advanced pricing logic for configurable products.

Data & Backend Integration

• Manage and execute data loads from SAP ECC to CPS using Dataloader.

• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and synchronization of master and transactional data.

Commerce Integration

• Lead end-to-end integration between SAP CPS and SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris).

• Enable real-time pricing and configuration for B2B/B2C storefronts.

Performance & Optimization

• Tune and optimize CPS pricing engines to support high-volume transactions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance and integration issues.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Act as a technical lead and mentor junior consultants.

• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical designs.

• Work closely with functional, frontend, and client stakeholders.

Technical Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in SAP configuration and pricing.

• SAP CPS Expertise: Proven hands-on experience in provisioning and configuring SAP CPS environments.

• Variant Configuration (VC): Deep expertise in VC modeling, dependencies, characteristics, and classes.

• ECC Integration: Strong experience with SAP ECC structures and Dataloader-based data imports.

• SAP Commerce Cloud: Direct experience integrating CPS with SAP Commerce Cloud for storefront pricing and configuration.

• Technical Skills: Strong capability to develop, debug, and optimize pricing and configuration rules.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations or hybrid ECC–S/4 landscapes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
