We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Service Management (SM) Consultant with strong functional expertise and excellent communication skills. The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP S/4HANA Service processes for global clients while working closely with stakeholders during US business hours.
Lead and support SAP S/4HANA Service Management (SM) implementations and enhancements.
Analyze business requirements and map them to S/4HANA Service processes.
Configure and customize:
Service Orders
Service Contracts
Service Notifications
Resource Planning
Billing & Invoicing
Integrate SAP SM with:
Sales & Distribution (SD)
Materials Management (MM)
Finance (FI)
Project Systems (PS), where applicable
Perform system testing, SIT, UAT support, and defect resolution.
Prepare functional specification documents and collaborate with technical ABAP teams.
Provide production support, issue analysis, and root cause resolution.
Support data migration validation and cutover activities.
Deliver end-user training and create training documentation.
Participate in workshops, design discussions, and stakeholder meetings.
Provide regular project status updates to leadership and project managers.
8+ years of overall SAP experience with strong hands-on expertise in S/4HANA Service Management (SM).
Minimum 1 end-to-end S/4HANA implementation experience.
Strong knowledge of:
Service Orders
In-house Repair
Customer Service Processing
Contracts & Warranties
Billing Integration
Solid understanding of service business processes.
Strong integration knowledge with SD, MM, and FI modules.
Good understanding of S/4HANA simplifications and Fiori apps related to Service.
Ability to independently manage design, configuration, testing, and support.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (mandatory).
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and client-handling skills.
Experience working with global clients in US shifts is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
SAP S/4HANA Service certification is preferred.
Shift: 5:00 PM IST – 2:30 AM IST
US business hours alignment is mandatory
Experience in ECC to S/4HANA migration/conversion projects.
Exposure to Field Service Management (FSM).
Knowledge of Service with Embedded EWM.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
